Our tour guide, Christopher Robinson, was a bright and energetic young man with a wonderfully witty sense of humor. He helped us to feel like we were a part of the tour, and not just tourists. The city is spectacular and I can't think of any better way to see the sights than on a segway (especially with all the hills)! By far this was my teenage son and my favorite thing about our trip to San Francisco! We went on a bay cruise, rode the cable cars, went to Alcatraz, the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk and the Winchester Haunted House; nothing compared to the fun we had riding the Segways around town! The guide was great with my 13 year old son and it is all he has talked about to his friends since we got home. We plan to come back to town in a few months so that we can take the advanced tour. My husband and two teenagers all went on the night tour and it was absolutely wonderful. We had so much fun as a family and enjoyed the night air and all of the city lights. This was the first time my family had been on a Segway, and it was amazing. The tour took us places we didn't get to see on any other tour, and we all had a great time. I wish we could have stayed in town longer for another tour. I would definitely recommend this tour. P.S. I really liked the tour guide, I think his name was Chris from Paso Robles, CA. Fantastic experience! I've lived in the bay area for years and had a friend come to town and we took this tour. Even as a local it was amazing that I'd never seen most of the things the Segways can access... mostly because they're soo small and mobile. The San Francisco Segway Night Tour is a fun new way to explore San Francisco at night. Tours includes 35-45 minutes of orientation and training. We offer the 1st Segway tour of San Francisco! Ages 12 and up. The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds or over 250 pounds. Reservations required. Please indicate an alternate Night tour date in the event that your preferred tour is full or unavailable. For Segway Tour: All guests must be at least 12 years old AND weigh between 100 - 250 lbs. (45 - 113 kg.) No refunds if you do not meet these criteria. Halloween Special Event: Trick or Treat by Segway - Friday October 31 2008 - 7PM Night Tour Only - Costumes Optional.
For rider safety please no flip flops, sandals or high heel shoes.

Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability. Who can ride a Segway? Are Segways safe for children or people with disabilities? Riding a Segway is similar to riding a bike-it's intuitive but nobody is born knowing how to operate it. That's why we offer 35-45 minutes of training so you can get familiar with riding a Segway. A Segway is not an ideal mode of touring for people with some mobility issues. Segway riding is not recommended for pregnant women. Unfortunately, pregnant women will not be permitted to participate. All guests must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without any assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail. Rider must be able to operate the steering control with his or her left hand. The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds or over 250 pounds(46-113 kilos.) Helmets and reflective vests are provided and required. NOTE: To All Guests for the Segway Tour: All guests must be age 12 or older and weigh between 100-250 lbs.
